Description: Moderately dense ruby red with purple hues. The nose is intense with classic Cabernet aromas of blackberry, cassis and dark chocolate with a trace of aniseed. On the palate it is strong and tight with delicious dark fruit flavours combined with astringent drying tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish. This is a concentrated wine – “essence of Cabernet”- and may be aged for many years for even greater enjoyment.

Classic aromas of strawberry, raspberry and spice lead to a palate with complex sweet fruit flavours, great silky mouthfeel and a considerable weight. This is a classic example of the old adage "an iron fist in a velvet glove" and is not expected from the transparent ruby colour.
