60 dozen produced: matured in NEW (4 months) & re-shaved French oak for 22 months.
Bottled June 2009.
Colour: Purple.
Nose: Spice, chocolate, liquorice, cherry, oak.
Palate: Full warm cloves, red cherry; liquorice & chocolate finish with a dry oak grip
It will develop complexity for 5 to 10 years, possibly reaching its peak around 2020!
In future, THE WILSON OV-series will only appear in exceptional years.
