Long Jetty Caravan Park Port Welshpool is a natural deep sea port and it is one of the most southerly towns on the Australian mainland ideally situated for year round fishing and cruising. There are a number of charter boats based at Port Welshpool who take fishing parties outside the heads. The Long Jetty which was opened in 1939 is one kilometre long and the longest in the southern hemisphere. It offers excellent fishing for adults and children alike.
